Your data never leaves your device unless you enable iCloud Sync or use AI-powered features. iCloud data is protected by Apple's security measures.

  • All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure SwiftData framework.
  • Voice recordings are stored in the app's private container.
  • iCloud sync uses Apple's end-to-end encryption.
  • Voice transcripts and contact context are sent to a cloud AI service for insight generation and are processed in real time without being stored on our servers or by the AI provider.

Hierlo uses a small set of services to power key app workflows.

  • Apple Speech Recognition for on-device voice transcription.
  • OpenRouter AI API for AI-powered insights, voice note extraction, and message drafts.
  • Apple StoreKit for subscription management.
  • Apple iCloud for optional cross-device data sync.

  • Export all your data any time from Settings.
  • Delete all data permanently from Settings.
  • Disable iCloud Sync to keep data only on your device.
  • Revoke permissions such as notifications, location, or calendar access at any time.

Children's Privacy

Hierlo is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
